Check out how your's ranks here:

There are less than 300 people in the world with my surname. My surname comes from a hamlet in Galicia.

Sorry, we don't have any information about the ************ surname. If this really is your surname, then congratulations - you are a genuine rarity, at least in the USA.

According to that website, there are only 155 of us in the USA, none in other countries. So 155 out of, what, almost 300,000,000?

My surname is a partial anglocization of a German surname. It hasn't been tracked back any further than to some German-American Lutheran church records in 1800.

My maiden name is as well. It is very uncommon here in the US. Not sure how common it is in Germany. There are other derivatives of the name that are more common, especially within German Mennonite communities.

    Smith would be better....
Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems such as those connected with reality... Existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind and language... It strikes me as peculiar that most concern themselves solely with language, the least of all philosophies...

Smith is an unfortunate name for any Brit to have. Family tree must be impossible to do.
