You have no proof that there are non-Italians pretending to be such here in the US but are Jews.

If anything you are probably seeing Puerto Ricans pretending to be Italian since many of them have an Italian fetish and want nothing more than to be Italian.

Yeah, Southern Italy may have been settled by neolithic farmers from Anatolia (who were indo-Europeans btw), but that's probably been replaced by now.

How does that make them similar to Jews?

If you want to fantasize and pretend to be Jew, go do it elsewhere please.

I only want population percentages of gypsy's and Jews in Italy during the period of 1900-1950

It hasn't. That was, and is, most of their genetic makeup.

There's no Puerto Ricans in Canada.

There's lots of "Russians" though. Ironically, every second "Russian" I meet in school has dark beady eyes, huge 6 shaped noses, and kinky negro hair... clearly Jews claiming to be Russian

You're also forgetting the large population of Arabreshe here - and I've NEVER met one person that called themselves such. They just go on claiming to be Italians

AND, my empirical evidence is enough to suffice. I know something is going on, a lot are actually Jews.

Arberesh would be lighter than the average southern Italian though not darker. At least I have been told they tend to be very light. I have a cousin who is part Arberesh (surname is Paxhia, which is definitely not native Sicilian) and he is lighter than the rest of us.

Answering the original question only - there is no way to know.

It also depends on one's criteria for what "Italian" is. Is a German-speaker from Alto Adige "Italian"? What of a Sicilian-speaker from Agrigento or a Catalan-speaker from Alghero?

    It's all a gray area.

How would you classify them? Sub-nordid?

Anything mixed with European is irrelevant IMO.

I just want to know about Jews and Gypsy's, and how many migrated, if it's at all possible to estimate.

Anyway why do you even care.. if they identify as Italian and that's all they know themselves as, leave it at that.
