Yes or no: Do most people in America think Latino is a race?

Many white Hispanic Americans are still considered Caucasian. Christina Aguilera is one of them. I don't know a Caucasian who doesn't consider her one. You see more of the minorities trying to deny someone's Caucasian ancestry rather than Caucasians. Ive seen it happen with her, despite her identifying as white you have the minorities saying the opposite. We must remember that many of these people especially the FOBs already come from lands with racial complexes. They bring that shit here.

(1) Latin American people are extremely heterogeneous in terms of race and culture.
(2) The term "Latin" is a linguistic term that is not related to race.

Would you rather call yourself Mestizo? I see 'Hispanic' as a switchable non pejorative way of calling mixed blood New worlders. What's wrong with that? Her father looks mostly Spanish but still mixed. Someone posted a pic on ABF.

But yes I have heard "Christina Aguilera may look white but she's really Latina" as if her being Hispanic means she is no longer white.
