He is in fact quite atypical, but once in a while you find individuals like that. For us, he doesn't as foreign as president Klaus Johannis (no Romanians look like that)...

We know all that these types exist in Romania.
The country has been partially under Turkish occupation for centuries.
And also before Central Asian intruders left a genetic trace.

But you can find these types to a higher degree in
Bulgaria and Hungary and Serbia

To a less degree in Slovakia, Poland and the Czech. Rep. and Croatia

you don't have a clue about how any of those countries look. this guy looks distinctly romanian, you don't find anyone with this look in czech, slovak or poalnd.
