Default Ethnic Europeans in Central Asia

Millions of ethnic Europeans were left in Central Asia after the break-up of the Soviet Union (to be precise: 12,253,557 Europeans of different ethnicities in 1991). That's a population of a small European country. The people betrayed and forgotten, the lost children of Europe.

This topic is dedicated to them: pictures and various data.

From where did most of the Greeks come from who are now in Central Asia? Was it Crimea or Caucus region?

If memory doesn't fail me, they were deported from Crimea after WW2. The absolute majority of Central Asian Europeans were deported in there.
