Any thoughts about that? I heard there were viking invasions in Ireland and since there are bruenn survivors in Gotenburg, Sweden, do you think that the vikings imported them from that place?

idk, I and 99.9% of my family are Bruenn and we are English(some Swedish moving to England in the 1600's, and some Danelaw, but most of my English is just English) and then there's the German blood.
So I doubt it can be attributed to Sweden alone.
And then Jarl's point about the Norwegians being the ones to invade Ireland, not the Swedes.

I think the Irish are generally noted for their robust crania, just like Scandinavians and other North Europeans... I reckon its just a remnant of the old Paleolithic blood.
