    Default Creation of the World

What is your view of how the world came to be?

Young Earth Creationism: God created the world 6,000-10,000 years ago

Old Earth Creationism: God created the world millions of years ago, without evolution

Theistic Evolution: God created the world billions of years ago, with evolution

Atheistic Evolution: Universe came into existence out of nothing and evolved by chance

Eternal Universe: Universe had no beginning, therefore it neither was created nor came out of nothing

Scientists estimate the age of the Universe to be around 3.77 billion years.

There may be many universes, besides our one - and ours could have formed when others collided, or another one split apart ... hence the "Big Bang" (multiverse theory).

Observation shows that the Universe is expanding at a rapid rate (galaxies are drifting away further and further from each other), and hence they came to the conclusion it was once much smaller and then in a flash expanded in the Big Bang. To make a long story short ...

I have no answer. Because assuming it was God, then how did God came to be? And assuming it was the big bang, then how did an explosion happened from nothing?

Just the very existence of the universe testifies that either it was created by eternal Being or that it is eternal by itself. It is called law of causality. Big Bang is absurd, even the atheist scientists are testifying that it is very flawed theory and they are moving to eternal universe science. If the universe could be eternal according to them, then why do they exclude the chance of there being an eternal Being so rigorously?

I don't know where you got that figure of 3.77 X 10^9 years, but it is WRONG. There are rocks on Earth that old and some, on the Moon, about 4.5 X 10^9 years old. The best estimate of the age of the visible universe is around 15 X 10^9 years.

The multiverse theory is an interesting speculation, but must always remain only that., There can be no evidence for the existence of any other universe. The curvature of space makes each universe, if there be many, a monad, which no radiation, and therefore no information, can ever either leave or enter. If there be other universes, we can never know anything of them.

I voted for eternal universe but with a twist, universe like everything else is cyclical, it is born, grows up, gets old and finally dies, and the next cycle begins. The twist is there is no discernible beginning of the round of cycles, it's always been, it's always been changing, and it will always be. There is no beginning there is no end.

I need a drink, I have just realized I'm trapped in this pathetic experience called existence. LOL

Fuck this, I need to wormhole my black ass to non-existence somehow.

We are like cells in the universe, helping to make it run.

I picked this: Old Earth Creationism: God created the world millions of years ago, without evolution

Physics says something can come from nothing , I think the quantum theory

So I'll choose - Atheistic Evolution: Universe came into existence out of nothing and evolved by chance
