I was going to say very Uralic or very Vasconic but neither Schriver's or Venemen's theories are regarded as significant proof of substratum languages....

A third possibility is Tyrrhenian. As far as I'm concerned, Etruscan was a Neolithic invader language and then went through extreme degrees of creolization throughout the years.

Etruscan is "invader", however for sure not Indo-European.

If Aryans kept to their own land (lower Volga basin south of Volga-Kama crossing), Europe would have kept an enormous linguistic diversity. A dozen of language families with mutually unintelligible dialects on a hundred miles radius. No high art, probably no high civilization and certainly no European expansion outside Europe.
