Russians culturally closer to Koreans and Chinese than to Western Europeans

World Values Survey
It asked people from different background about their values than they compared each other and made two value maps which are supposed to show the culture and mentality of the people. Two maps where made, the time period shows for which time it is, so we can see where countries are moving to culturally as we can compare.
The Wiki article in english shows the first map made. The german article on the other hand shows also the second map. You can use the first to identify the german names and the value barometer.

So in general orthodox slavs are closer to koreans and chinese especially in recent days. You can also see how uruguay is the most european of the latin american countries, while the US if you compare both maps you see a decent moving into latin american direction. But so is ireland for some reason but then again it explains liamliams jugnle fever.
You can also see very strange curiosities like iraq and romania almost identical, while poland is in the middle along india, turkey and other asian countries. Sweden and Japan are some alien countries being very alone especially japan tough it moved a bit in into the eastern sphere. Germany seems to be the closest to japan but even that its too far away. In general germany is a very isolated country, being only closest to czech and scandinavians instead of swiss, austrians and dutch. Slovenia is also a lonely culture.
here are some similarities i found in eastern orthodox slavs (soviets in particular) and east asians which hunted my attention and let be do research about it in first place.
