Believe me, as somebody with large farmilaiarity with Christian theology, I could tell you, even most extrem Protestant sects are still closer in values to Orthodox Church than any far Eastern religion. Not to mention, Russian culture is also Western (in West as Europe and European influenced New World)

Germany seems to be the closest to japan but even that its too far away. In general germany is a very isolated country, being only closest to czech and scandinavians instead of swiss, austrians and dutch.
