Are Bulgarians Southern or Eastern Europeans?

Music and traditional clothes are Balkanic, not Eastern. Horo dances can be found in Greece, Ro, Ser etc. The traditional clothes are almost the same. Culturally we are more similar to the Greeks/Romanians/Serbs than to Russians (clothes, believes, myths etc.)

Yeah, I wasn't sure about music, cause I'm not so familiar with other nations' folk music. I said the traditional clothes are Eastern cause I approached the question thinking Southern is Balkan + Italy + Iberian Peninsula and Eastern being everything on the East side of where the Berlin wall used to be. Our traditional clothes are most similar to Balkan, but also similar to West Slavs and Eastern Slavs, which are all in Eastern Europe. Some Italian traditional clothes can look close by being in white and red, but most are different and Spanish ones are way too different. About myths, I think we have from both sides, examples being Samodiva = Nymph from Greek mythology and Baba Yaga from Slavic mythology.

South-East Europeans more specifically. I would say they are more southern for the most part.
