Are Bulgarians Southern or Eastern Europeans?

Bulgarians are Southern Europeans mainly.

Our culture is very similar to the culture of Greece for example. I personally dont feel much connection with Eastern Europeans like Romanians and Russians.

i would say eastern concerning your culture and mentality but looks eastern too but with south influences

mee too , but i know a lot of romanians here in italy and i think they are quite different from bulgarians especially in mentality , is also true that mostly of the romanians in my city are from north romania , probably those from south are different and more similar with bulgarians , but i am not very familar with them so i don't know

Most Romanians I have met were very rude. I know they're something like Latinized Paleo-Balkanites, but I don't feel much of a connection, to be honest.

I've also heard they're quite vulgar, but I don't know much about them anyways.
All I know is the Ghica family, Inna, Alexandra Stan, Antonia & Dracula.
