I visited Brasil, Argentina, Peru and Mexico. There was a restaurant I was told in a bad manner “we don’t have ‘posho’ here if you want it you have to ask correctly”. Made my blood boil but had to say “poio” for the guy to bring me some chicken. Im uncertain whether that happened in Mexico or Spain. Except for that incident I was treated good everywhere especially in Brasil.

Omg your story is so funny. Sorry not sorry hahaha

Why do platinos say "posho" and not pollo anyways? Is it really an Italian influence?

I've visited many countries in whole Latam: Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Dominican Republic and Colombia. My favorite place is DR, but I was in a pretty turistic region, most people I come across were foreigners, same in Brazil during Olympic Games, many foreigners around. Not particularly bad treated in any of them, just some weird moments in Paraguay mainly
