    Default EU outlaws racism

    [ source ]

Racism, incitement to hatred, apology, denial or trivialization of genocide will soon be punishable by one to three years in prison throughout the European Union, today announced Friday the Commission European.

The European Ministers of Justice have agreed on Friday to establish penalties in their laws. It took nearly seven years of negotiations to achieve this, "said European Justice Commissioner Jacques Barrot, presenting the decision to the press following the meeting.

"Racism and xenophobia have no place in Europe, and should have no part in the world," he said.

"I welcome the introduction of strict and effective sanctions against these violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms which are common principles for European countries," he added.

The agreement punishes "public incitement to violence or hatred against a group of persons or a member of such a group defined by reference to race, color, religion, ancestry, origin national or ethnic. "

Will also be punished incitement "by public dissemination or distribution of tracts, pictures or other material", in reference to the Internet.

Europeans also intend to punish "the apology, denial or gross trivialization of public crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes as defined by the International Criminal Court."

These sentences could come into force only in several months, even a few years, the time for EU countries to transpose the framework decision in their respective legislation.

So, in Europe, if you don't agree with the liberal elite you get thrown in jail?

Sounds like one of those scary fables you'd read to small children to teach them morals. Maybe the parents of those Ministers of Justice never read them bed-time stories?

I agree that public encitement to hatred and violence against some identifiable group should be criminalised.

Examples that come to mind are the European imams in their state-funded mosques, preaching the destruction of European civilization, and the Swedish and German Antifa, who routinely incite themselves and each other into committing violence against persons whose political opinions they don't happen to like.

But perhaps that is not quite what these lawmakers had in mind?

I suppose we will be having Turkish denial of the Armenian genocide for tea then?

But what are the chances these laws will apply inside mosques?

This brings to mind the Bantus of my country's public "kill the Boer, kill the farmer!" chants. On the one hand, yes, it entices them to be more violent towards us, and we'd feel safer without those hate rallies, but it also shows everyone exactly how violent their tendencies are. Their sentiments are out in the open, so nobody can claim the blacks don't hate us. Similarly for a Muslim carrying a "Europe will burn" banner - it gives the people who see it a glimpse into what Islam's about, and hopefully convinces some that they're better off without them.

On a scale of one to one hundred percent? Probably in the negatives.

That's an interesting point; the EU will have to expose another of its double standards if Turkey ever manages to con its way into Europe. Endlessly whining about the Holocaust™, but refusing to recognize another atrocity to appease an alien people won't do well for the credibilty of the organization or the type of nonsense we're seeing here. As usual, even before any formal legislation has been drafted, it's made clear that European nationalists and patriots will be the targets of this offshoot of Stalinism, not Islamic leaders who call for the Europe to "have its 9/11", or Asian and Negro gangs who taget innocent whites in racially-motivated assaults and rapes, which are seemingly in the news daily.

It's pretty clear these laws will only be applied to real (white) Europeans.

"Racism and xenophobia have no place in Europe, and should have no part in the world," he said.
Will they in whole or in part, apply to non EU citizens visiting EU countries?.
