I never said I thoroughly love France or République (though I am a strong supporter of Democracy) and in fact I find very hypocrite how Frenchmen keep saying "liberté,égalité and fraternité" and then they enslaved half of the world.
As for other points:
Versialles treaty was undoubtedly harsh, but France had suffered German occupation of part of its soil and 1,3 million deaths, furthermore it is often forgotten that when Germany won 1870's war they forced France to pay 5 billions francs and cede two of its most important regions( though those were German in their core).
Décret Crémieux as far as I know (I might be wrong) was yes discriminatory but though making Jews citizens, it made them available for conscription and made them lose their "religious status".

I was in France and the average French didn't look woggy for me. I think that the French are on average phenotypically closer to Brits and Germans than to people from Spaniards or Italians. French people are mostly Celto-Germanic who speak a Romance language in my eyes.
