How much SSA is needed to affect hair texture?

I was just wondering how much SSA ancestry is needed to make a noticeable affect on hair texture. And I mean when combined with any peoples, from the most flat, straight Northern Euro hair to the super straight silky East Asian and Native American hair to the thick Indian hair and even thick, curly Southern Euro hair.

LMAO. My hair doesnt have any SSA traits, but thanks. lol IMO I think you need at least 20% SSA to make some impact on the pred other type.

Eh, I don't know about that. I think there is frizzy hair even with 100% Europeans

More than 1/4th. There was an actress I saw with completely silky straight hair even though she was 1/4th black. All the half black people half white people I see have black hair, so it must be somewhere in that middle region of 25% to 50%.

Prove it or it didn't happen. Most of my friends who are 1/8 black show SSA traits in their hairs. They are mostly Iberian, Italian/Black mix.

For instance, Chico Buarque de Holanda is 1/8 black (the rest is portuguese):

Alice Braga is 1/8 black (rest is portuguese):

it's quite clear in this one:

I can post many other examples. For me, only 1/16 or below is sufficient to fool me (I'm well trained in detecting SSA admixture).

Maybe if you grew your hair out, then it would become more frizzy and the Sub-Saharan African in you will become more visible.

My other sister is the girl to the far left. Ignore my other sister next to her's hair. Its obviously straightened. The pic above is just the bangs straight and the rest with some product.
