Er...on the contrary, tradition is often times a reasonable justification for behavior. Although I'm not a Christian myself I can see the value in preserving a tradition that has been observed since 1776. Sure, I'd love to see a Heathen president in office, but, thinking realistically, I'd rather have a good old Protestant than a Black-Power-Liberation-Christian/Crypto-Muslim/Atheist/Agnostic/whatever this guy might be. I don't normally adhere to the whole "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" type of logic, but I'll proudly stand with Western Christians against a Muslims any day of the week.
