Albanians do consider themselves descendants from Illyrians and maybe some ancient balkan groups but never with Ancient Greeks(Sparta, Athens, etc). The only connection that Albanians make is with the Epirotes(like Phyrrus)and other groups that were located in modern day Albania.

There was alot of interaction between the Illyrians and greek states bordering eachother.

But yeah no Albanian claims to be descendant of the Spartans or Aristotle lol
