Sokol, as you know well, except for Bulgarians! OCS is called as such for a reason....why....because nowhere was it called the language of Turkics (Bulgars). Old Bulgarian is the language of Turks not Slavs, secondly, Klement, never called his language Bulgarian but Slav. If Bulgars here want to play this stupid game again, then o.k, for l will say OCS is closest to modern Serbian, as OCS has Serbian-Slav declensions and it doesn't have Romanian-Vlach definite articles. Modern 'evolved' Bulgarian is nearest, in a structural sense, to modern Romance groups than Serbian-Slav languages!

That's completely made up. It was called Old Bulgarian because that's where the Old Church Slavonic originated, in the First Bulgarian Empire, and was the language of medieval Bulgarians in the Empire.

Despite the dialectal variation of the spoken Slavic languages, the language of the church remained quite consistent. It also remained the primary medium of the liturgy for centuries, though it underwent some changes through the course of time. Hence the terminology Church Slavonic or Church Slavic and, for the oldest documents, Old Church Slavonic or Old Church Slavic. In addition to its use in the ecclesiastical setting, Church Slavonic also remained for several centuries the literary language in various parts of the East and West Slavic speaking areas. Because of the Balkan origin of the earliest manuscripts, OCS is at times termed Old Bulgarian, though this nomenclature has fallen out of fashion.

I agree with you guys. Slavs must unite. There is a danger present in the Balkans and it has to do with gypsies and albanians. They commit many crimes and have incredibly high birthrates. If we don't react soon, they will bring us to our knees. Very similar to the way Mexicans are taking California and the Southwest United States over from the Whites.
