How so? There is not much Northern European there.
Here is what I am noticing for Palermo and Trapani. Some appear to be (in an overall setting) "outliers" for Sicily and others cluster not that much differently than people in the east.
Here's what I will say. If the Sicanians were Iberian, they must not have been like modern Iberians since not a single one of the Sicilians thus far has any percentage of Iberian showing up.

Are these people all within one family? I am sending more sharing invites out but so far I have not personally found anyone with such high Northern European.

No. I don't share with any families (at least not users with shared accounts or same surnames. I'm sure people are related.)

If the higher Northern European for Palermo seems to be a trend, then it'd make sense.. I can usually tell when someone is from there because of how much lighter and more Northern European they look than what is typical for Sicilians.. I rarely ever even see light eyes coming from Messina, Catania, or Enna.

I don't know how much of it is a trend, so to speak.
The ones I've shown are from my RF (except for the "100% Italian" Eastern Sicilian). I have very few people on 23andMe that I share with that I am not related to. So, people who are from other parts of the province than the Southeast may show different results.
