Orthodox Christians are the richest Christians in America

The following Data is kind of surprising, you can see basically which religion and which churches are the richest by looking at their wealth distribution in america. The first shows a basic overview and second i think the overall wealth per capita at least thats the order which suggests it.






I find it very funny how orthodox christians are the wealthiest christians in america. People often accuse orthodoxy as backwards church and undermining their followers. They often point the finger at poorer orthodox christian countries like russia, ukraine, serbia and troubled western economies like greece and cyprus while catholic countries like france and belgium and protestant countries like uk and finland and so on are better of (though russia is doing better recently).
I had often conversation with people who said me that its the orthodox religion and the culture around it which is backwards etc. Well here you can see the other side of the story.

They are hard workers and are often highly educated believe it or not. The situation for the Muslims is that mostly are in the private sector, which does not generate much wealth, and most are from the Levant as well.

lol its the opposite people make more money in the private sector. At a certain level you wont get anything more as a doctor or teacher.

I can't speak for Slavic and Balkan orthodox people but Syrian Orthodox people come from families where you are pressured to become doctors and businessmen.
