Separate from this, something else to consider is that the Northern part of Iran is on the other side of the Caspian Sea from where it has been theorized Ashkenazi Jews originated from, and there is likely a relation between the two groups.

No it most likely looked the same. Arabs mostly married within their own and werent in large numbers during that time.

And no, Iran at least is pretty much the same since the Islamic conquest. The levant/mesopotamia/north africa not as much.
