Yes, they are. In fact, Bulgarians invented Slavdom.

Linguistically yes, but physically and ancestrally I consider them closer to Greeks than to Ukrainians/Russians/Poles/Belarusians.

I differentiate between Balkan Slavs (g00d) and the other Slavs (ev0l). Bulgarians are like some sort of mutant balkanslavo-romano-turco hybrid.

As I know, Bulgars were only Turkic speaking + the elite did not mix with the majority population. One of Bulgaria's queens is also Jewish, that doesn't make Bulgarians part Jewish, does it ?
