Default Which nation is CULTURALLY most similar to Greece?

With all factors taken into account -- way of life, attitudes, gestures/mannerisms, food, music, outlook, language, traditional clothing, architecture, etc., who is culturally the most similar to Greeks?

I'd go with Albania, but I'm interested in seeing what the Greeks here would put.

I'd say Albania, Bulgaria, and Serbia on the basis of the shared Ottoman heritage, and southern Italy due to a retention of some of the (mostly pre-Ottoman) Greek culture that had been there for years. But first and foremost Albania.

Serbia for sure. Albanians can't be culturally similar to Greeks because the Greek (Roman actually would be a better name, because we are Romans, not Greeks) culture is based on Orthodoxy today from Byzantine times, which Albanians don't have because they are mostly Muslims.

Why Serbia over Bulgaria? Is there something specific to Greek and Serbian culture that Bulgarian culture lacks?

The connection between Bulagria and Greece has nothing to do with the Ottomans. Here are some facts which makes me believe Greeks are closest to us:

    - Many Bulgarian names are from Greek/Byzantine origin (Lefter-Lefteris, Georgi-Georgios, Kosta-Kostas and so on). This thing doesnt exist amongst Serbs and Albanians as far as i know.

    - Our cuisine is similar and i'm not talking about those "Ottoman" dishes, but about Tzatziki, Feta...

    - The architecture on the Black sea coast is typical Greek fisherman. It has nothing to do with Ottomans.

    - Thracian Bulgarian folk costumes have a lot in common with Greek ones. Here i should mention that Northern Greece has basically the same folklore as Bulgaria. The similarities are visible if you listen some folk songs.

Thats my opinion about the topic.
