Yes, we can say so more or less...perhaps not the smallest (I believe Sporting has even more supporters than Porto) but the least sucessful one of the three.

You forget many other fails, maybe because you were not familiar. Robert Prosinecki or Gica Hagi for Real Madrid were ridicolous signs. Mendieta for Lazio and Barcelona. Overmars, Petit, Coutinho, Griezmann, Dembele for Barcelona. Kluivert, Rivaldo for Milan. Probably hundreds more.
All these signs were done with the greatest pretensions. I had not the minimal faith in Hazard, a guy with very few goal and friend of injuries.
