Nah, Bayern do pretty well despite no internal competition. PSG's main problem is a weak left-back and weak defensive mid. PSG were held by FFP restrictions otherwise they would have invested in a better midfield. Also, PSG get unlucky in their draws pretty often. I do agree that PSG need better competition. With the new TV rights deal starting 2020 in addition to the new tax laws introduced last month, expect Marseille (who got a new owner recently & made the EL final) and Lyon to improve significantly.

PSG is so competent that two years ago with a much better squad they lost the Ligue 1 to Monaco.....

Leo Jardim needs to get out of that club immediatly! He needs a new challenge in his career.

Different, Bayern is a club with European tradition and the level of the Bundesliga is definitely better than the French league and the rythm of play more intense.

Bayern and Juventus have some kind of trauma with the Spanish teams, anyway I think this year it will be the first time for 5 or 6 years that the winner is not going to be Spanish!

They had a not so good season and Monaco were much better back then. They had both Falcao and Mbappe (who were in amazing form) in addition to one of the best coaches out there. Still not an excuse to lose, but I'm just giving some perspective. And it was just one season, PSG improved since then.

Even if the Bundesliga is better than Ligue 1 (which it obviously is), it doesn't change the fact that Bayern are able to breeze through it with barely any difficulty. They can compete at the UCL despite not having domestic competition. Also, PSG usually gets bad draws in the knockout stages.

Barca are easily one of the top 3 teams right now. I actually think Barca is #1 at the moment. Juve and City are probably better than Real Madrid without Ronaldo but its too early to say.

Their problem like PSG, is the UCL. But this is normal, Chelsea took almost 10 years to win it's UCL since it became a UEFA shark.

Man City and Barca are close. I wouldn't mind calling either of them #1. Man City is easily the best PL team of all time, miles ahead of Arsenal' "invincibles" and Mourinho's Chelsea during his first stint. They made the strongest league in the world look like a farmer's league last season. Makes you wonder how Pep didn't do better with Munich. I wonder how they'll do without de Bruyne and Bravo for the next 2-3 months.

Abramovich is like one of those fans that has knee jerk reactions whenever Chelsea loses in the way he sacks managers too easily. Don't know if PSG will be the same. IMO, Emery deserved the sack but Blanc was a good coach. He only got sacked after that loss to City. Tuchel looks promising and has given PSG their best start in Ligue 1 since they got bought by the Qataris. Also, the team that beat PSG was managed by Klopp. Very few teams can cope with his gegenpressing style. He helped Dortmund win the Bundesliga twice by gegenpressing even though the players he had were nothing special IMO. Only Lewandowski ended uo being world class. Currently, I wouldn't rate any of Liverpool's players world class (not even Salah) but they are one of the best teams cause of Klopp.

What is your opinion on Antero Henrique btw? Many PSG fans said that he's corrupt and tries to get business for his friends and is a nepotist (and has been since his Porto days). There was a critical article written on him saying he was not significantly involved in Mbappe and Neymar's transfers as well.
