PSG shocked by Uefa probe into high-priced transfer deals
PARIS • French club Paris Saint- Germain (PSG) are stunned by the decision by European football governing body Uefa to open a probe into their high-priced transfer activities last month.
They insisted on Friday that they did not fall foul of Uefa's Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules, despite shelling out a world-record transfer fee of €222 million (S$357 million) for Brazilian superstar Neymar, and then engineering a loan move for young French striker Kylian Mbappe with an option to buy him for €180 million next season.

Yeah, Spain & France have very good teams on paper, because of a talent pool & big choise of very good players.
Spain has the best Premier League defender (IMHO, Azpilicueta) seating on their bench, Marcos Alonso not even in their pool (!!!) & the best midfield in the World (IMHO) in Busquets, Iniesta, Thiago, Fabregas, Isco, Asensio, David Silva, Koke, Saul, Javi Martinez, Herrera, Mata etc.
France also has very good players & the most talented youngsters in the World: Lloris, Varane, Laporte, Mendy, Kante, Pogba, Bakoyoko, Mbappe, Dembele, Lemar, Martial, Griezmann, Coman etc.

France is the strongest one to win the WC2018 imo.
Also, I'd bet in Brazil and Colombia outside Europe.

French National Team is not mature enough & lacks experience on Elite Level. Bunch of Mega Talented young players with very average coach, Didier Dechamps.
Germany, on other hand, is the most consistant team of 21'st century... & they have the experience and maturity. They won Confederations Cup with their reserve squad just couple of months ago. And what is the most important is that they have an excellent coach, Joachim Low.

The favourite is Germany. Then France and Spain have chances.
I wouldn't consider any south american team this time. Because it's in Russia and they are far from their best.
