Messi played less matches than CR in champions league so posting total numbers is unfair. He is like 3 years younger, dont forget that. I checked the champions league goals data some days ago and the goals per match ratio of messi is higher than that of ronaldo.

I guess Ronaldo does have better goals per match ratio in semifinal and final, but we should see how many semi finals, finals ronaldo played.
