The luso-brazilians are winning 1-0 agains Hungary. Denmark won against Sweden which means that we overtake Sweden for the second place.
Seems that Portugal might go to the world cup after all. Or at least we will go to the play-offs.

Serbia needed just one final victory in the home match against almost eliminated Romania to secure their passage to the 2010 World Cup and cap off an impressive qualifying campaign.

In the end it turned out to be a triumph for the Serbians, who dominated the match and won 5-0.

Striker Nikola Zigic opened the score in the 37th minute, while Marko Pantelic made it 2-0 early in the second half.

Midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic added a third with ten minutes to go, and Milan Javanovic made it 4-0 in the 86th minute.

Javanovic completed the misery for Romania with a fifth goal in the 93rd minute.
