The DPRK is best Korea because is has the most potential. It could pursue nationalist economic policies and supercede the Republic of Korea.

The DPRK used to be in better shape than the RoK. They cannot shut out the world, and they need to get their thinking caps on, and become a property-owing nationalist republic.

Just watched that Panorama program on North Korea, and I've seen some other videos before.

The place is a real mess. The fact is they are probably only going to get closer to war, as they seem to be intending to provoke America, and the reality is that they are very weak. They couldn't last in a protracted defense of their country, they barely have any electrical power and most of the population don't have enough food.

To me the place basically looks like a stationary war party with it's thralls keeping the war party afloat.

I'd vote for South Korea any day, it's a thousand times better.

I say if they take it too far America will have to respond with force, because now things have been set in motion it's got to end somehow. The truth is you couldn't really frighten North Korea into submission, they are willing to go further than America would which puts America at a disadvantage.

Has to be played very carefully, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if it escalated, and there is really only one result for North Korea in that case, which is absolute destruction, unfortunately for (most) of it's people.

I totally stand with the DPRK and fully support respected leader Kim Jong-un who is advancing socialism in the same manner as great leader Kim Jong-il and great leader Kim Il-sung.

The DPRK is an illustrious nation that avoided the revisionism and capitalist reform of Khrushchev, Gorbachev, and Deng. The DPRK is resolutely committed to building socialism under the banner of Marxism-Leninism. The DPRK has achieved many great accomplishments all the while being totally strangled by humiliating UN sanctions and being the target of aggressive imperialism. The fact that living standards were better in the DPRK than south Korea up to 1986 proves that unhindered by imperialism, the achievements of the DPRK and Juche socialism would be monumental.

There are so many falsehoods propagated by the anti-DPRK media. Even many on the left have betrayed the DPRK.

I rather be under a horrible supreme leader who leads my nation, and does things for the best of my nation, rather than be a puppet of another country.

North Korea is like a neighour with a shotgun living an old shackle. He may be completely crazy and stays in his house but one day he will start shooting

I have a sympathy toward the DPRK. I don't agree with the monarchical order in the administration though.
