    sushi just refers to vinegar-rice. if it has vinegar rice, it is sushi. sushi with fish is sashimi, technically.

    There is sushi with different vegetable and fruits (egg, avocado, cucumber) and other seafood (scallop, shrimp, octopus) that is not fish. Also the fish does not have to be raw.

    This is true, and in fact people who don't even eat fish or meat can still have other sorts of rolls. That being said I love the sashimi or fish rolls personally
