AFAIK Asians were a small part of USSR's forces, the greatest number of conscripts were ethnic Slavs, which just "returned the favor" to Germans which rampaged, butchered and raped across Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus...

Of course I'm not denying that but Russian deliberately conscripted these minority or 10% soldiers to humiliate the White Aryan pride of Germans.
