From the very link you posted
"Khatyn, Chatyń (Belarusian and Russian: Хаты́нь, pronounced [xɐˈtɨnʲ]) was a village in Belarus, in Lahojsk district, Minsk Voblast. On March 22, 1943, the entire population of the village was massacred by the 118th Schutzmannschaft Nazi battalion. The battalion was formed in July 1942 in Kiev, from mostly Ukrainian nationalists from Western Ukraine and collaborators, Soviet army prisoners of war deserters[1][2] [3]and the Waffen-SS special battalion "Dirlewanger"."

Learn some history, will ya? 'Cruel' Russians during their expansion offered protection to every native ethnicity they encountered and every single one of these ethnicities still exists today.
'Benevolent' Anglos on other hand wiped out the entire American continent, enslaved and raped India, turned China into one big drug addict and at the end invented concentration camps where they ruthlessly starved to death thousands of women and children of other Europeans.
PS Oh and you don't have to go that far away, ask your Irish neighbors who is the most cruel and anti-human European. I'd suggest to prepare a death wish beforehand though

Germany imposed a brutal regime, deporting some 380,000 people for slave labour, and killing hundreds of thousands of civilians more. At least 5,295 Belarusian settlements were destroyed by the Nazis and some or all their inhabitants killed (out of 9200 settlements that were burned or otherwise destroyed in Belarus during World War II).[1] More than 600 villages like Khatyn were annihilated with their entire population.[1] Altogether, 2,230,000 people were killed in Belarus during the three years of German occupation
