What happened to Kosovo's Circassians?

Albanians organized pogrom against them which ended in deportation and fleeing. Typical of Albos.

Circassians are known for their loyalty to the country of residence. So, it's likely that they stayed loyal to Serbia which illegal Albanian paramilitary organization UCK didn't tolerate. Circassians of Kosovo had to move to the historical Circassian land in Caucasus where they got a new settlement.

Friends, it is a mistake to divide people into Europeans and non-Europeans. Europeans are too different to be one group. The very inhabitants of Europe should be divided into true Europeans: Neanderthals, Albanians, Basques and Eurasians: Scandinavians, Germans, Slavs, Finns

Circassians of Balkans mostly moved back to Anatolia and/or Mesopotamia ; few families managed to move back to Circassia proper.

Anatolia and Mesopotamia are Turkey as much as NW Caucasus is Circassia, if not more.

Nay nay. Since 1086, Anatolia+Mesopotamia are marked as (first Turcomania, then) Turchia by same people and mappers who were marking NW Caucasus as Circassia; that is Italians, Venetians to be more precise.

Among Serbs, Croatians and B&H Muslims exist surname Čerkez and Kerkez, it's rare but exist. Probably originated from assimilated Circassians.

Great article on the Circassian community in Kosovo. Great shame what the Russians did to them. Seems they are still active in Kosovo and living well, bless them.
