Poetry writer/singer/artist/musician Pete Doherty.


Pete Doherty walked around Bratislava in Slovakia with his guitar... and then he started singing and playing in the streets, which stunned people and made the people there laugh.

(He's always drunk and high on drugs... his voice is often slurred and he's spent time in jail over his drug addiction problems. Pete is blamed a lot in society for hooking Kate onto cocaine.)


He's demonised a lot in the UK media over his severe drug and alcohol problems, greasy hair, sleeping on park benches, frequent stays in prison, etc. I feel sad for him. He said he feels betrayed by our country.


Some American female tourists laughed at Pete being drunk in Central London and not knowing his way home in the clip below. They yelled at him, 'you don't even know where you're going!'

It's a pity really as Pete is from a middle-class background, (both his parents were high ranking military officials,) and Pete achieved high grades in his academic studies.
