    Default mtDNA haplogroup H and the origin of Europeans (Brotherton et al. 2013)

    A very important new study is out. They managed to analyze the mtDNA a large number of Neolithic individuals belonging to mtDNA haplogroup H. Looks like a huge expansion of H occurred with the movements of the Bell Beaker Culture people out of Iberia in the late Neolithic.
