Already there are countless mutations from being exposed to radioactivity in Japan. Here are some pictures of animals, insects and plants. Time will tell the impact of the radiation on human development.

how the heck can humans ever find clean energy, my idea is to have the power plant in space, and send energy down through a long cable

I find it rather interesting how quiet Japan has been about the levels of radioactivity in Japan. I suppose there are many other things related to health which have been conveniently swept under the carpet.

I read somewhere recently, that senior citizens have volunteered to clear up the sites most stricken by the radioactivity because they say they will not live long enough for the full effects of the radiation to take place on their bodies. I think that is heroic.

I made another thread about the Chernobyl Disaster which was today in 1986. One can see the full effects of the radiation on human development.

    Incredible thread, thanks for posting.
I wonder if nuclear war mutations will requre humanity to pump itself up into mental and physical advancement through DNA "planning" in the future: an absolute requirement for man to go ahead and both implement and speed up what he's doing now, which is learning through science how to "perfect" humankind...

Just an idea that just occurred to me.
