It's highly doubtful Bulgaria would have sat by and let Macedonia be subjected to de-Bulgarization if Bulgaria was indeed made part of Yugoslavia even after Tito-Stalin split.

I think Bulgaria was originally supposed to be part of Yugoslavia but it was against Soviet interests.
