Don't attack me, but I do believe that Yugoslavia would not be enough. We need a Pan-Balkan co-operation. Something like a confederation of some sort that would allow the existence of a more stable and economically powerful Balkan entity.
I don't know how that is going to happen or if it ever will.
And I'm not suggesting that current Balkan nations don't have value because they do. I just believe in Balkan co-operation.
I mean look at Iberia and Italy being so homogeneous politically, then look at the Balkans. I'd say some sort of collaboration should develop.

The Soviet Union wanted a stronghold in the Balkans (Bulgaria) that's why it never became part of Yugoslavia.
