I'm pretty sure we outlasted the Soviets.
Yes, a great idea, but Serbs had done too much to damage bilateral relations between us and even today they refuse to admit or apologize for their past transgressions towards our people. It's really no different to how Serbs behave in Bosnia. It has to be pretty ironic that the biggest supporters of pan-Slavism, the Serbs, are also the biggest roadblock to such pan-Slavist state.
About the allegation that NATO destroyed Yugoslavia. No, that's a pretty ridiculous conspiracy theory. No one but Milosevic and his Serbian supporters destroyed Yugoslavia instead of opting to hold Yugoslavia together he opted for a Greater Serbian state on rump Yugoslavia.

Thank God we were not in Yugoslavia. There were such intentions in the beginning of the 30's. The conservative governments that ruled the contry at that period dont allowed such a thing. King Boris III helped a lot to stop this madness. Mussolini also played a role at Bulgaria's side for staying an independent country and not joining this Slavic federation.

dp93, what do you find so much about Serbs? Why do you want Bulgarians to be associated with them?
We are better than Serbs in every sense, if thats really the thing which bothers you.
