I don't know if I'd describe it as a strictly European type. To me it looks rather like today's Berids and Berberids, which would essentially be a Paleolithic Cromagnid type that may have, at one point, been found on all sides of the Mediterranean.

I can't picture that type turning into Nordids when moving north, but rather remaining today's Berids.

Sikeliot hit it right on the nail. This women is Berid. 100 percent. It also makes sense since CM types are the oldest European's.

It's not that they are the same but rather that both are very ancient, and related, Cromagnid forms that in large part have been overridden by Med types.

Most people we call Berid and Berberid today are Med influenced. This woman looks like a pure Cromagnid type.
