Music theory basics speak of melody, rhytm, and harmony. You can say a lot with a lyrics but without the three ingredients you can't pass your emotions unto the listener, and unless Dinaric people have very few emotions (most Gusle songs sound the same) I think they're doing bad job. All I'm saying is it limits the way you can express your feeling.

3/10, it does nothing for me, the only remotely likable thing is the lyrics.
Dull and repetitive, as expected from The National (I am sorry). I have listened right after to it to another completely random track (through Deezer) of them called Graceless and this one somehow managed to out-dull the previous song! They were though almost indistinguishable, even with drumming being copy-pasted, lol. The only element that stuck with me was the lead singer repeating the word 'Graceless' with a flat tune to it like 50 times.
