PRISTINA – Kosovo police arrested in two separate operation seven persons from Kosovo suspected to be involved in human trafficking and allowing prostitution, police officials announced today, reported “Kurir”.
Police Directorate for Human Trafficking Investigation in Urosevac and Prizren has in two separate operations arrested seven Kosovo Albanians suspected to be involved in human trafficking, allowance of prostitution, and they also discovered and saved one victim of the trafficking.
In Urosevac five persons were arrested while in Malisevo two more persons were arrested, all of them were Kosovo Albanians.
The suspects were ordered to remain in custody for up to 48 hours, states the official police announcement and adds that the police actions were all approved by local prosecutors.
