I quite like Yandex, I have an email address with them which is pretty good (although some annoying features - opens external links directly, instead of opening a new tab like Gmail).
They also improved Chrome too by implementing Opera (Norwegian) Turbo technology to compress web pages (saves bandwidth and speeds it up, plus stops flash loading by default unless you specifically click on it to load it). Only flaw with Yandex browser for an English speaker is the auto-translate feature wants to translate sites into Russian - can't be changed. Should have left Google translate in the English one if they're not going to translate into English.

As for the search, only used Yandex search engine a few times, seems alright, but not as many results as with Google.
