I just saw many Catholics thinking "saints" will talk to God and convince Him to say yes to their prayers. All prayers should be directed to God, in the name of His son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

Creepy modern cults that take the Christian imagery while draining it of its meaning. Their moral and spiritual code is not the same, nor is their worldview, nor their sociopolitical expectations.

Protestants of protestants. Barely any connection left to the throne/altar duality that built Christendom.

Saints were accepted since the Council of Nicea that selected what would be part of Christianism and what wouldn't.
Contradiction to the Council's dogma is simply seditious heresy, just like arrianism was. Perhaps modern cults are worse since they have used modernist concepts in their theological soup.

Muslims are followers of Christ, in that they believe he was a prophet of God and that people who claim his divinity are perverting his message.
Jews for Jesus are followers of Christ. They deny his divinity but accept that he was the Messiah.

If you ask them, they will say no, they are not Christians.

Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who existed before time, and created the World in the Old Testament. Mormons believe that we were all aliens from the planet Kolob and migrated here, and that Native Americans are Jews, and that Polygamy was okay, until the US Government made them outlaw it, and that blacks were evil until they changed their mind, and that baptism of dead people against their will is not only valid, but the right thing to do.

Mormons are as much Christians as Sikhs or Buddhists are Hindus.

Baptism for the dead is not against their will. Their souls have the freedom of choice to accept of deny this in the afterlife. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He existed before, and that the world was created through Him. It's funny how Catholics are quick to judge, without knowledge.

Mormons do not believe that Jesus is divine.

Mormons do not believe that human beings were created here, but migrated from another planet.

There is no reconciling the LDS church to the Christian Church. My faith existed in the time of the Apostles. It was not created here in New York in the 19th century.

Mormonism is closer to scientology and other new-age cults than it is to legitimate Christianity.
