It was original build as tribute to Andalusian Sufi man, Abu El-Abbas, on 1306. The mosque went through several maintenance and renewmwnt. But the most important contribution was by an Italian engineer named Mario Rossi in 1933.

Well, i am not an Architect, but Orthodox icons and cross tend to have a special design that distinguishes it from the other christian sects. this how Coptic Churches looks like.



This is a Coptic church in Amman, where there is a significant Egyptian minority working there.

They look different from European churches but they to tend to remind me of those in Israel, Lebanon or Greece.
