Default Yorkshire accent.. does it sound Scottish to you?

To me it sounds Scottish or like the northern Ireland accent. I don't think it sounds like what we think of as an "English" accent.

Although it's an English accent, I think it sounds a bit similar to the standard Scottish one. The t's are often not pronounced and the vowel sounds gave me a Scottish vibe. They use terms as 'wee' and 'lass' just like the Scots. I live in a place with many people of Scottish heritage, so I would know.

It sounds like a strongly Scottish influenced English accent.. but I bet people would mistake it for Scottish.

I think the girl was speaking in English but was demonstrating how some words are pronounced in the Yorkshire accent.

What would you call Coronation street accent?

I am sorry: I can't hear anything Scottish in her accent.

She is just a Yorkshire lass. People from Yorkshire don't sound like Scots at all.

She doesn't sound like any of the accents we think of as English. To most Americans she'd be taken for Scottish.

Same here. We don't have the impression that English accents sound like this. We are mostly familiar with the Southeastern accents of England. Not saying that it sounds very Scottish, just a tad bit, especially considering the terms they use (lass for instance).
