Doesn't really sound anything like a Scottish accent to me. Doesn't sound Irish either. Just sounds like a more broad English accent. There is a lot more enunciation and hardness with a Scottish accent. Irish accent has a similar enunciation as a Jamaican accent, just without Jamaican vernacular of course.

We work with a company from Leeds. Many with strong Yorkshire accents & it's hard for us to understand them unless you concentrate.

They sound nothing like Scottish accents. Neither of my Yorkshire friends in London sound like Scottish people, not in their accents nor in their sayings. I can tell the two apart quite easily. I find Yorkshire peoples accents easy to understand, but I have trouble understanding some Scottish accents, especially if they're from the Highlands, although I can understand Edinburgh accents and various other accents from Scotland.

I have to listen very carefully to understand some type of Scottish accents, and I can't make head-or-tail of the Glaswegian patter.

I have been told I sound like I am from Yorkshire. I live only 40 minutes away.
It sounds absolutely nothing like the Scottish accent.

Yeah, I have to concentrate to understand hard Scottish accents. Do you think Lancashire accents are just like Yorkshire? Example:

Liverpool is the closest in accent to glaswegian and scots. The way they drawl their sentances like in glasgow. Mancs are soft spoken like Scots, but is different again and dosent sound alike.
