I have the opposite, I prefer 150-180 grams of strong alcohol for a good snack. Vodka, cognac, whiskey, calvados, good samogon or tincture. For beer, you need too much of it and it's a diuretic, and wine gives me a bad hangover.
Now I have enough free time, maybe I should try samogon making? Cheap, natural, plus a wide scope for learning and process optimization.
