    I have the opposite, I prefer 150-180 grams of strong alcohol for a good snack. Vodka, cognac, whiskey, calvados, good samogon or tincture. For beer, you need too much of it and it's a diuretic, and wine gives me a bad hangover.
    Now I have enough free time, maybe I should try samogon making? Cheap, natural, plus a wide scope for learning and process optimization.

    Rakija is actually natural samogon based on fruits. You can get slightly spoiled plums or other sugary fruits from any vegetable/fruit base almost for free and make literally same product. Every 3-4th Serbian family prepares up to 100 litres yearly based on the type of gardens they own, it's not regulated by law, almost no restrictions. People sell own rakija in own small asnd bigger cafes, there are signs on the gates of houses like "we're selling "add type" rakija", you can come in and try it. Nobody cares and there are no poisioning accidents unlike here in ex-ussr, unluckily.

    В Крыму многие делают домашнее вино и чачу. Качество варьируется от абсолютного шмурдяка до нектара.
    Чача - это в принципе такой себе напиток, я склонен считать его самым коварным из крепких (коварнее - только абсент, но настоящий, с туйоном, достать тяжело). Многие самогонщики не фильтруют виноградный жмых для чачи, и в дело идут стебли, листья и прочий мусор. На выходе получается "грязный" продукт, с соответствующим опьянением и отходняком. Но есть и щепетильные производители, использующие свежий виноград вместо жмыха.
    По поводу палёнки в магазинах, в крупных сетях ЕГАИС исключает фальсификат. Его ещё можно найти в магазине "Продукты" по подозрительно низкой цене. Другое дело, что полностью легальный продукт может быть полным дерьмом - я уже написал выше на каких трёх китах строится современная экономика. "Не надо кошмарить бизнес" - тогда бизнес будеть кошмарить нас (прощай, ГОСТ) и. т. д.

    В Сербии ракия из жмыха считается самым дерьмом, зовётся комовача, думаю только алкаши её пьют, никто в своём уме сам пить или угощать ей не будет. Виноградная ракия - лозовача, используется брожение цельного винограда, а не отходов производства вина.
