Austro-Hungarians were far worse because they were an established empire while KSHS was not and never was going to work as a Kingdom.

You say Communism was bad but Bosniaks were illiterate before it, even under Turks while now we actually have people who are good at other things than religion. There was no other alternative at the time and it could have been much worse. There were less dead Bosniaks in this war than in WWII and we've got an independent country this time.

I see your point, I agree about education and economy, Communist Yugoslavia was great at that. I don't even criticise lack of religion that much (it's a personal choice) as much as I criticize lack of national consciousness.

Taj pogani baliluk se neće iz našeg naroda očistiti ni za 30 godina, moramo čekati dok sve starije generacije pomru.
